Good afternoon. Just wanted to say hi and alert everyone to the upcoming podcast of the Murk and Malach show guest starring the Angry Piper (AKA poison). As always the podcast will be full of excitement, laughs, tears, and heartfelt feeling between these internet celebrities. I for one will be looking forward to the presentation.
On a more serious subject, I have spent significant time this holiday watching the 1st 2 seasons of Grey's Anatomy. I now know why this show is considered one of the best of television today. The show is well written, exciting, fun, and honest. I like the way the characters are multilayered and real, much like the exoskeleton of a certain type of grasshopper (mantis, maybe?) Anyway, I do appreciate good drama and Grey's delivers, at least IMO. Also, again being serious, I am working on a very exciting and true bio of the Angry Piper for the WoW. He is a highly regarded member of this community and I hope to enable everyone to see how this hero has come to be. Stay tuned. Well, now, I have some medical advice to give, so I must depart from this day's blogging. Carry on and have a healthy day.

Hi. Just wanted to say hi to everyone out there (all 32 of you) who read my blog...HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME !!!! Yahoo!!! I think birthdays, as depressing as they may be for some, are a great reason to celebrate. they are your own "personal holiday". All your friends and family call you or send a card or email to let you know they are thinking about you. The day just feels a little different. Your dog sings happy birthday with your brother over the phone. Maybe people even give you presents. But I think it's nice to think about what I've done over the past year. I've done quite a bit. My life is a lot better and more gratifying than it was last birthday. It's pretty amazing to think of all the stuff that's changed for me over the last year. I have a new job, I've reconnected with several old frienda, I've met many many new friends. I've had good opportunities for fun. I'm no longer depressed. In fact, I might even hazard a guess to say I'm happy :) Just a quick thanks to everyone who touches my life for great experiences past present and future. Here's a toast for my birthday to you :)

Not much is new on the Dr. Jen front. I have enjoyed reading posts stating the various opinions of my fellow bloggers. It's very comforting to see that so many of my colleagues have such interesting thoughts on the current events of today, from football to the war to soda. I get a huge kick out of reading the WOW and other miscellaneous blog entries. Unfortunately, at this time, I really can't say I have anything too interesting to say. I'm looking forward to this football season (PATS WON TODAY). I'm doing pretty well in my football pool (8 wins w/ 3 games to go). My life is on an upswing in many ways right now, both professionally and personally (at least so far). I am discovering new and interesting things to cook with. The weather is beautiful so I am enjoying that. My knitting class starts up again soon. I have great relationships with my family and friends and I am making new friends every day. I'm sort of glad I live here. I'm still afraid to fly :) The 5th anniversary of 9/11 is bittersweet to me...I will mourn the loss of the over 2000 people who were lost in this heinous event, but I can take some consolation knowing that we still have our rights as Americans and we are able to say what we want, no matter what that is. Noone has to read it but we can write or say it. As much as we all disagree on the effectiveness of our current democracy, at least we live in a democracy. We are not all brainwashed into some horrific cult like government where we are completely closed off from what is going on. We have a lot of freedoms here and even if we forget to appreciate it, let's try to take a minute to appreciate if tomorrow. Let's all band together and remember what the day is. It was a very scary day. Songs have been written, tears have been shed, memories have been scarred. But America is still strong, or at least as strong as we make it. I don't know, I'm not usually such a patriot but since the Patriots won, we should look at it as if all the patriots won today!!! Have a super day and bless all.
